This Privacy Policy explains how PaceLedger ("the app") handles your information.

0) Play Data Safety alignment (summary)

This policy is written to match the Play Console Data safety disclosure for PaceLedger.

PaceLedger is local-first for core budgeting data.
Sign-in and cloud backup are optional.
We do not sell personal data and do not share personal data for advertising.
Optional diagnostics/analytics are controlled in-app (when exposed by your build).

1) Summary (plain English)

PaceLedger is offline-first: your transactions, buckets, budgets, and most analytics are stored on your device.
PaceLedger does not require an account for core budgeting and expense tracking.
You may optionally sign in with Google to use account-linked features such as encrypted cloud backup.
Premium AI features are optional and not required for core use.

2) Data handling

Core financial data is stored locally on-device by default.
If you sign in and enable cloud backup, encrypted backup archives and related metadata are processed via Google/Firebase services.
If you enable Premium AI features, spending summaries may be processed by Google Gemini via Firebase AI as disclosed in-app.
If optional diagnostics/analytics are enabled, technical reliability data may be processed by the configured provider.

3) Data sharing

We do not sell your data.
We do not share personal financial entries for advertising.

4) Your choices and controls

Use PaceLedger without an account for local budgeting.
Enable or disable cloud backup from app settings if available in your build.
Use in-app delete-account flow to wipe local data and request cloud backup cleanup for signed-in accounts.
Disable optional telemetry/AI settings from privacy controls if exposed by your build.

5) Google Play billing and subscriptions

If you purchase Pro/Premium via Google Play, subscription purchase handling is provided by Google Play Billing. PaceLedger does not receive your full payment card details.
